SOAR Experiences is excited to partner with Catskill Center and STARR Adventures, a NY Action Trackchair Dealership, to offer guided adaptive hiking for persons with limited mobility in Action Trackchairs. Morning hikes (10am - 12pm) and afternoon hikes (1:30pm - 3:30pm) are held at the Thorn Preserve trail in Woodstock for registered participants.

Thorn Preserve is comprised of 60 beautiful acres near the Town of Woodstock, Ulster County.

The preserve boasts the most painted views of Overlook Mountain. Sweeping grassland habitat, riparian forest and ponds make this spot a profoundly relaxing and peaceful area. Mowed paths are easily accessible from John Joy Road. Thorn Preserve will remain an undeveloped landscape, which offers nature-based education, sustainable agriculture, model stream management, and an ideal artists’ retreat.
