Adaptive Adventures with SOAR Experiences: A Unique NFP Journey

Hosted by the Student Association at SUNY New Paltz
We all face challenges, some big and some huge. Our mindset and attitude on how we deal with them directly impacts the quality of our lives. Our speakers will give insight to their real-life challenges facing mobility impairment suddenly due to an accident and progressively due to a neurological degenerative disease. In addition to sharing their personal journeys, they will also express their views on the importance of adaptive activities for the mobility impaired community. You will also hear from SOAR operations and executive management about transitioning from part of a for-profit entity into a Not-For-Profit organization, and the services they offer. Amazing adaptive equipment will be onsite for demonstration and Q&A.
